FLOSS Open Source Usability Sprint
This was a invitation only conference where usability professionals and programmers worked together to find solutions to improve usability for the opensource projects. During this conference, I gave a tutorial on “using essential use cases” to reduce development time and improve the user experience for the product.

Online Community Unconference

This was a gathering of online community practitioners - managers, developers, business people, tool providers, investors - to discuss experience and strategies in the development and growth of online communities. During this event, I lead a session on building online community for entertainment products.

Information Architecture Summit
This was a conference for Information Architects and other user experience professionals. During this conference, I had chance to give a talk about applying personalization technology to ecommerce websites.

Dcamp
This was a Barcamp style conference that focused on design and user experience. During this conference, I gave a case study on designing user interface for opensource deskstop applications.


SF Video 2.0 Group Meetup
I had opportunity to present Jaman's online film community and how people discover films using very interesting and fun ways! SF Video 2.0 is a monthly gathering for companies involved in web 2.0 video related technology.


LunchMeet
Lunchmeet,the latest video blog from PodTech,is produced by Eddie Codel and Irina Slutsky of Geek Entertainment TV fame and features interviews with people from various Bay Area internet companies durning lunch time. I had chance to talk about user experience and features behind Jaman's online film community.
